In honor of their 25th anniversary in business, Tennessee based Wysong Enterprises, Inc. has unveiled a new trade show display at the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) annual Air Medical Transport Conference (AMTC) in Nashville, Tenn. Wysong is showcasing one of the new Airbus EC130 aircraft from fellow Tennessee based Hospital Wing, an air ambulance company. Wysong is located in Northeast Tennessee, in Blountville, and Hospital Wing is based in Memphis, Tennessee.
“We wanted to do something very special for our 25th anniversary in business at AMTC in our home state,” said vice president of Wysong Enterprises, Inc., Rodney Wysong. “Having Hospital Wing’s aircraft in our booth with our new booth display truly highlights the strength of aviation in Tennessee. We wanted to showcase our EMS work at this show and utilize a well-known Tennessee EMS operation.”
Wysong has modified numerous AS350 aircraft for Hospital Wing and has completed two new EC130s. The aircraft at AMTC is equipped with a full medical interior and several avionics and safety modifications. Some of those modifications include HeliSAS 2 Axis Auto Pilot, Garmin G500H EFIS System, an Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Night Vision Modification, Avidyne Traffic Advisory System, and a KRA-405B radar altimeter. Wysong also performed modifications to the airframe including dual search lights, LED scene and landing lights, Eurocopter hinged door mod and a Donaldson engine inlet filter. Wysong custom painted the aircraft to match Hospital Wing’s corporate color scheme.
“Wysong has done a great job equipping, modifying and completing our aircraft, ” said Hospital Wing director of maintenance Glen “Buddy” Wilson. “The quality of their work is outstanding and we look forward to continuing to do work with them in the future. We are honored to showcase our aircraft that they worked on at AMTC this year, so everyone can see their quality work and to also celebrate their anniversary in our home state of Tennessee.”
